New York: Boni and Liveright, [1922]. First edition, first state, signed by the author on the front free endpaper. Publisher's cloth, lettered in black, dust jacket, custom cloth clamshell case. 7 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches (19.75 x 13.5 cm)' [4], [i]-vii, [8]-271. Very minor wear to cloth, jacket a bit toned along spine and edges, small chips to rear panel and spine at top edge and to bottom corners, a few tears at folds, light offsetting from jacket to endpapers, contents clean and bright, altogether a very nice copy in a scarce, fragile and largely intact dust jacket.

E. E. Cummings first book - an autobiographical novel about his oftentimes amusing experiences while detained in a French prison camp during World War I. Firmage A1.
