Undated, circa 1914-1917
Addressed to Miss Cécil Nona Kerr. Inscribed in English: I thank dear Nona very much for the nice book. I kiss you very much. From your loving Tatiana. Framed together with a copy of the reverse of the postcard, printed with the seal of the City of Moscow. Height of postcard 5 5/8 inches (14.3 cm), width 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm). Height of frame 17 1/2 inches (44.5 cm), width 12 inches (30.5 cm).

Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna (1897-1918) was the second daughter of Emperor Nicholas II (1868-1918) and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna (1872-1918).

Cécil Nona Kerr was lady-in-waiting to Princess Victoria of Battenberg, Marchioness of Milford Haven (1863-1950), the elder sister of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna.
