Konstantin Skvortsov, Moscow, 1908-1917
Rectangular with rounded corners, enameled with varicolored shaded flowers, foliage and geometric motifs on cream and pale blue grounds, with a green hardstone cabochon push-piece, the interior with an engraved dedication inscription: To Major General Sir John Hanbury-Williams from 14 Welshmen at the Moscow Metal Works Jany. 1. 1916. Length 4 3/8 inches (11 cm).
