Lazarus Posen, Frankfurt, late 19th/ early 20th century
The inverted pear-form body chased with pomegranates and foliage, with extended foliage and apples, raised on a tree trunk-form stem entwined with a snake and flanked by figures of Adam and Eve, the cover finial with St. George and the Dragon in a foliate cage, the whole applied with colored stones. Height 19 3/4 inches (50 cm), approximately 64 ounces, all in.
