We are grateful to Professor Massimo Pulini for his assistance in cataloguing this work, and especially for his illuminating observation that the drapery style seen here is characteristic of the later years of the artist's workshop.

Glue relined. Scattered small touches of restoration throughout, with broader areas of restoration in the background of the upper right quadrant. Some shadows in the drapery reinforced. Visible repaired tear (about 1.5 cm long) on the blue cloak about 5 cm. below the edge of the sleeve near the Virgin's right wrist.
