Additional Notes & Condition Report

Wax relined. The inscription is considerably later than the rest of the painting, apparently added in the 20th century. There is a small horizontal mended tear (less than an inch long) roughly 3 inches to the right of the sitter's face. Restoration to the face and neck; scattered touches elsewhere. Paint flaking on the sitter's chest; and one chip missing in the background to her right.
