Belgian Art Deco Silver Tea and Coffee Service

Each shaped oval with stepped corners, with angular handles, comprising a teapot, coffee pot, cream jug and covered sugar bowl; Together with a Continental Silver Tray. Height of coffee pot 6 1/2 inches, length of tray over handles 23 1/2 inches, total approximately 150 ounces, all in.
Delheid Freres was founded in Brussels in the late 1820s and quickly became the leading silversmiths of the nation. The firm gained international recognition with their Art Deco silver in the 1920s and 1930s of which this tea and coffee service stands as a perfect example.
