Color printed poster, inscribed by Max in ink "Max / 2000," with a sketch by the artist of woman in profile. Visible area is 36 x 23 inches (91 x 60 cm). Framed. Fine, not examined out of frame.
Peter Max was named the official artist for Operation Sail 2000, a celebration of the millenium in New York Harbor and the largest peactime sailboat parade to date, with 120 tall ships, more than 40 warships from around the world, and around 70,000 smaller pleasure craft.
