T.C. Brown Westhead, Moore & Co. Egyptian Revival Majolica Garden Seat
Recorded as shape no. 1223, circa 1875
Modeled as a seated Egyptian female figure supporting a quatrefoil cushion decorated with radiating palmettes, resting on the back of an owl with outstretched wings above lotus blossoms, the base with two addorsed cobras, the cartouche shaped base trimmed in yellow and cobalt blue, unmarked, painted numeral. Height 21 1/2 inches.
