William Brownfield & Sons Majolica Monkey and Goose Pitcher / Vase
Circa 1880
Naturalistically colored, modeled as a gaping graylag goose with a pigmy monkey standing on his back peering down his gullet, the monkey forming the handle, on a green mound base, unmarked, black painted 32. Height 13 5/8 inches.
The design for this model was registered in February of 1880.
