Comprising a Wedgwood Argenta 'Bird and Fan' footed bowl, pattern no. M2788, date code CAI for 1879, the scalloped bowl molded with Japanese fans and flowering prunus alternating with songbirds, one eyeing an insect in flight, the socle foot molded with a pink key-pattern band, turquoise interior, impressed uppercase mark and 7, raised registry diamond, and puce pattern number, height 6 5/8 inches, diameter 11 3/4 inches; a brown-ground Japonisme 'Fish and Fan' spittoon / cuspidor, circa 1880, of thistle form, the lower body molded with an open and a closed Japanese fan among flowering vine, reserved on molded quatrefoil ground, mauve interior, unmarked, signed with black painted 5, height 6 1/2 inches, width 7 inches; and a Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Japonisme Argenta 'Fan' pattern sugar bowl and milk jug, in the Japanese taste, date code EFG for 1877, each molded with a central olive-green fan entwined with flowering prunus, branch handles and turquoise interior, impressed uppercase marks and various letters, raised registry diamond (26-F-H-3), green pattern no. M2756 and black painted P, width of sugar bowl 7 inches, width of jug 6 7/8 inches.
