18 kt., rectangular case, red and black enamel, Chinoiserie motif of clouds, round cabochon black onyx thumbpiece, interior with mirror, make-up compartment, hinged lipstick case and compartment, with triangular-shaped pendant loops, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, no. 24798, with maker's mark and French assay marks, circa 1925, minor enamel loss, ap. 87.5 dwts. gross. 3 x 1 1/2 x 3/8 inches.

Area of blackish patches on red enamel at lower left corner.
Minor red enamel loss at front top left edge by gold.
Reverse with several scratches and small chip on red enamel.
Scratch and several chips on black enamel side panels.
Center covered compartment with side push-button release. Few slight bends to metal at top of lid.
Mirror with discoloration all around edges, spotting in center.
