Richard Widenham Mahogany Cased 8-Day Brass Chronometer
London, late 19th century
The silvered dial with Roman numerals and Arabic chapter ring, engraved "Widenham/London," and further engraved "Resprung and Adjusted/by D. Eggert's Sons/1874," the interior of the case with Widenham's paper label. Case height 8 inches, width 7 3/4 inches, depth 7 3/4 inches, dial diameter 4 1/2 inches.
