The lot comprises, Signed card, framed with a 15 cent Rhodesian stamp and a portrait photograph of the author. Frame measures approximately 14 1/2 x 10 1/4 inches (36.5 x 26.5 cm); the autographed card is signed in ink and printed in gold ink stating, "in aid of the Fund of the Royal Alexandria Infirmary Bazaar"; the 15 cent Rhodesian stamp bears a portrait of Selous; the frame is backed with a reproduction of a photograph of Selous. Fine; together with: A Hunter's Wanderings in Africa. London: Richard Bentley & Son, 1890. Second edition. Publisher's gilt green cloth. xvii, [1], 455 pp., frontispiece, plates, folding map. Worn, gilding a bit dulled, hinges with glue repairs, frontispiece re-tipped in, overopened, occasional pencil markings in margins; Sport and Travel. East and West. London, New York and Bombay: Longmans, Green, and Co., 1901. First edition, second printing. Publisher's gilt green cloth, top edge gilt. ix, [1], 311 pp.; frontispiece, plates, in-text illustrations. Moderate wear mostly to extremities, spine a bit dark, front hinge starting, rear hinge with glue repair, overopened, old ownership inscription; Travel and Adventure in South-East Africa. London: Rowland Ward, 1893. Third edition. Publisher's gilt orange cloth. Moderate wear to cloth, losses to gilding on spine, front joint and hinge starting but sound, text-block a bit loose, contents bright, a very good copy; Another copy of the same. London: Rowland Ward, 1893. First edition. Worn, armorial bookplate; and five other titles, comprising four hunting memoirs by Selous and a biography by G Millais. Varying amounts of wear, mostly to bindings, but generally in very good condition, the lot sold as-is. (10)
