Revised edition. 20th century blue cloth with leather spine label. 6 5/8 x 3 7/8 inches (17 x 10 cm); vi, 154 pp.; colored frontispiece, woodcut illustrations. Light wear; together with WHEATLEY, HENRY. The Rod and Line, or Practical Hints and Dainty Devices for the Sure Taking of Trout, Grayling, etc. London: Longman [etc.], 1849. First edition. Three-quarters brown calf, marbled sides. 6 3/4 x 4 1/8 inches (17 x 10.5 cm); 157, [1] pp., with 9 fine hand-colored plates of artificial flies and lures, finished with gold and gum arabic. Light binding wear, Newberry Library stamp on title, part perforated and in blind, deaccession stamp, Field Museum Ayer bookplate and that of Wilbur G. Downs.
