[EPHEMERA - ANGLING] Three pieces of angling ephemera.
Comprises WEATHERLY, F. E., illustrated by DOLLMAN, J. C., and vignettes by FRASER, F. A. Four Jolly Fishermen. London and New York: Hildsheimer & Faulkner, and George C. Whitney, [circa 1880s]. Oblong, in publisher's pictorial paper wrapper printed in gold, sewn with a light blue silk ribbon, all edges gilt. 4 x 5 3/4 inches (10.5 x 14.5 cm); [8] pp., three full-page chromolithographs, vignettes throughout text and at title-page and tailpiece. Faint spotting and light soiling to wrappers, ribbon ends a bit frayed but altogether intact, a very nice copy. Unrecorded, with no copies on RBH and none in the trade (as of 1/13/2023); together with WHITCHER, W. F. Canadian Pacific Primers - II. Nepigon Trout. An Ottowa Canoeist's Experience on the Northern Shore of Lake Superior. Montreal: Passenger Department of the Canadian Pacific Railway, 1887. Loose gatherings, thus without the staples and original wrapper. 37 pp., map and illustrations in text. Light soiling and wear to corners, short marginal tear to title page; and Cape Cod Trout Club, Wareham, Mass. [No place: no publisher, circa 1923]. Stapled in publisher's printed paper wrapper. [8] pp., illustrated. Light toning and wear to wrapper, faint central crease.
