[ANGLING] BAINBRIDGE, GEO. C. The Fly Fisher's Guide.
Liverpool: G. Cruickshank, 1828. Presentation copy from the author to Frederick Kendall dated 1834, second edition, with additions. Modern calf gilt, red leather spine label. 8 3/4 x 5 1/4 (22.5 x 13.75 cm); viii, 162 pp., hand colored engraved frontispiece, 8 engraved plates, all but one hand colored, woodcut vignette and tail-piece. Very minimal wear to calf binding, contents with some offsetting opposite the plates and the occasional pale spot. Together with: [BAINBRIDGE, GEO. C.] Two printed leaves with angling themed lyrics, both titled "Song" and initialed by the author. [No place: no publisher, no date]. Housed in a folded piece of drab paper, with printed paper label from "The Collectors' Club," laid in the "Fly Fisher's Guide." Horizontal central folds, one sheet with paper and paste remnants along one edge, the other with a short split along the fold, a few spots, manuscript annotations in pencil to versos.
