Publisher's cloth, rebacked in modern leather lettered in gilt. 8 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches (21 x 13.5 cm); xi, [1], 298 pp., portrait frontispiece, plates. Fading and wear to boards, contents lightly toned with the occasional spot, rebacked, textblock a bit tight, retains old endpapers, ownership signature. Teddy Roosevelt's own account of the Rough Riders and their involvement in Cuba during the Spanish-American War, including his famous charge at The Battle of San Juan Hill.
