Publisher's dark green cloth, decoratively blindstamped and lettered in gilt. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (21.5 x 14.5 cm); [2], xiii, [1], 260 pp., portrait frontispiece, plates and in text illustrations. Rubbing and wear, joints starting, contents lightly toned with the occasional spot, two laid in news clippings about Buffalo Bill, presentation leaf tipped in.

An early and affectionate biography of Buffalo Bill, the man and the legend, penned by his younger sister, Helen Cody Wetmore. This copy comes with a presentation inscription from Mary Jester Allen, the author's daughter, Buffalo Bill's niece, and the founding director of the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, WY.
