New York: The Derrydale Press, 1932. One of 500 copies, presentation inscription from Marjorie Fleming Lloyd-Smith to her husband Wilton Lloyd-Smith. Publisher's tan cloth with gilt lettering. 11 x 8 1/2 (28 x 21 1/2 centimeters); viii, 178, [1] pp.; frontispiece, plates. Very light wear to spine ends, some pale staining and soiling to covers, spine a bit dulled, but overall an interesting association copy.
One of the most desirable of the Derrydale books on big game. The dedicatee, Wilton Lloyd-Smith, was a noted big game hunter who held the world record for the largest Alaskan moose antlers (now at the American Museum of Natural History), and was the member of a prominent yet tragic New York family.
