New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1935. First edition, first issue with "A" to copyright leaf and publisher's seal. Publisher's cloth in later issue dust jacket with the wide green band on the rear panel above the blur, price-clipped. 8 x 5 1/4 inches (20.5 x 13.5 cm); 295 pp., decorations by Edward Shenton. The jacket with minor wear and soil but generally bright, the cloth with slight fading, internally clean.
