Good Small, Hexagonal, Covered, Partially Shaded Cloisonné Vase Attributed to Namikawa
Circa 1890
With shakudo foot, lip and edge to cover which is fitted with a gilt copper liner, the vase and cover are decorated on the nashiji mustard ground with hinoki. The foot is decorated with stylized foliage and the neck of the vase and edge of the cover are decorated with stylized, overlapping clouds. Height 5 1/2 inches (14 cm).
