One Indian Hilted Gilt Shamshir and Two Indian Hilted Gilt Tulwar
The back of the shamshir blade bears notched decoration and the mark of Alleh and the gilt horse-head grip is deeply carved with foliage and the scabbard is covered with gilt openwork metal. The two tulwar with leopard-and-rabbit gilt hilts are each constructed with an internal sleeve filled with small bearings, 'tears of the wounded', and one is carved with elephants and tigers; both are in velvet-covered scabbards with gilt-metal openwork fittings. Lengths average 36 inches (91.5 cm).
