Dreiser, Theodore
Autograph letter signed ("Dreiser"), one page, 4to, Hollywood, 10 April 1940, to Art Young, the American cartoonist and writer, thanking him for his letter and commenting about rumors concerning "dear old England -- the worlds [sic] first grafter." He comments, "I've been out here 16 months working constantly on a piece of philosophy. When I get it off my chest I'll certainly feel better."
