First day cover, Namche Bazar Post Office, Nepal, 29 May 1978, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the first ascent of Everest, signed by Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, Edmund Hillary and John Hunt, bearing two stamps with images of Everest and stamp indicating that this is number 4 of 10 issued by the Nepal Philatelic Bureau. Hunt was expedition leader in 1953 and Tenzing and Hillary comprised the first successful team to stand atop the summit.
