Embroidered Wool Teagown
Probably English, 1880s
The princess line gown sewn in the style of an open robe and petticoat, with puffed Elizabethan sleeves, embroiderd on each side of front and down single Watteau pleat at back with flowers and vinery in fall shades, pleated ruffle at hem, handwritten number inside 1792.
Good condition, bodice silk fragile, some tears, overall soil.
