The blouson style ending below hip, with narrow band centered with bow, the bodice bisected with double seaming, two-button closure, wide flat collar, slant slit pockets, labeled: Yves Saint Laurent/Original Design Exclusively for Fortnum and Mason.
Very good condition.
Together with the French Edition of Vogue Magazine, Septembre, 1962. The jacket is featured on the cover and on p.209. It was from the first Fall/Winter Collection designed under his own name, in which he also introduced the pea jacket.
