Born in Paris in 1869, Dupuy became a painter of the en plein air school. His subject matter conveys charming children and elegant young ladies, placed in beautiful settings, either on the seashore or in gardens, with an abundance of sunshine. His paintings were exhibited at the Paris Salon and the Beaux-Arts de Paris and can be found in the National Gallery, Canada.
