Remnants of an old signature and date in the lower left corner. The date is 1865. The signature at the lower right may either have been added at a later date or reinforced, as it fluoresces slightly under UV light.
Dirty varnish. Frame rubbing. Scattered inpainting along the frame rubbing. It is difficult to detect further restoration under UV light, through the varnish.
