Dirty varnish. Frame rubbing. Visible stretcher marks. Repaired tear, with inpainting, in the upper right corner. Scattered craquelure, heavy at times. Scattered inpainting throughout: 2 x 3 inch area upper center; spots in the head sculpture; 4 x 1 inch area in forehead of woman; spots outlining the woman' arms and leg; spots in drape; 4 inch and 3 inch lines of inpainting at lower right; large area (approx. 5 inch area) of inpainting at far right center; 1 x 1 1/2 inch area in upper right corner; hand has been repainted. Few other spots of scattered inpainting.
