Additional Notes & Condition Report

Frame rubbing. Wax lined and restored. Small puncture wound at the upper center (though no tear in the canvas but with several very tiny paint flakes.) Inpainting scattered along the perimeter of the painting, mainly along the right edge. Area of restoration in the upper left corner and a 6 x 3 inch area of restoration in the upper left center. Most of the restoration is in the background, although the dulling varnish makes detection of further restoration quite difficult. Painting is thin in areas from a prior cleaning. Dirty varnish.
