Lined - wax. Dirty varnish. Frame rubbing. Small ding lower right center at edge. May be painted as an oval - did not remove from the frame. Tiny spots of inpainting scattered in his beard; a few tiny spots in his forehead and right eye. Tiny scattered spots of inpainting and what appears to be glazing in his right shoulder.
