Pair of Japanese Kutani Porcelain Covered Censers
Late 19th century
Each of tapering ovoid form, raised on four animal paw feet, the shoulder mounted with shi shi head handles, the domed lid pierced above the rim below a shi shi form finial, enameled and gilded with landscape and pattern cartouches on a blossoming flowerhead and leafy stem ground. Height 13 1/2 inches.
