Japanese Hirado Blue and White Porcelain Vase

Of tapering squared form, worked with a dragon in relief wrapped around the waisted neck below a flared rim, set on a fitted base ending in elephant head feet, painted with tiger, shi shi and figural panels above a band of bats at the foot and squared scrolling on the rim. Height 17 3/8 inches.
