Inpainting throughout the sky, including a 3 x 3 area of overclean in the sky just to the right of center. Frame rubbing. Roughly 2 1/2 inch split in the panel extending inward from the lower left edge. Scattered cracquelure throughout, heavier in some areas such as the upper left.
Heavy inpainting in the sky and the upper 1/2 of the work as a whole. There is quite a bit of inpainting in the area of overclean mentioned above as well. Overall roughly 30% of the sky is inpainted. Very little restoration in the figures or scenery at left. The panel appears to be slightly stained just to the left of the standing figure, perhaps a stain from the varnish.
