Lyon and other world-renowned firms such as Cartier, Mellerio and Tiffany, carved a niche for themselves along the fashionable street, attracting clientele from all parts of the globe. Lot 1480, not only exemplifies the opulence and grandeur that Lyon and other salons along the rue de la Paix sought to embrace, but it is also a remarkable representation of the craftsmanship and artistry that embodied Art Deco jewelry of the 1920s and 1930s.
