Two Japanese Fuchi-Kashira
19th Century
One worked in copper and ji-migaki, the kashira with a copper bird flying above a gold inlay cloud, the fuchi with a basket with a spoon with a gold cord attached and garden sheers in taka-bori of shakudo, the other in shibuichi and ji-migaki, both pieces decorated with thatched roof huts and a shoreline in taka-bori of gold. Lengths 1 1/2 inches.
