Two Japanese Fuchi-Kashira
19th Century
One worked in shibuichi and ji-migaki, the fuchi with a crane perched on the branch of a willow tree partially under water worked in a taka-bori of shakudo, silver and gold, the kashira with two flying cranes with the artist's kakihan; the other with a fuchi with long tailed tortoises in gold and shibuichi, the kashira with mount Fuji in usu-niku-bori with the summit in taka-bori of silver, a stream in the foreground with gold inlay. Lengths 1 1/2 inches.
