19th Century
Worked in shibuichi and leather like ishime, the fuchi with four flying cranes in taka-bori with gold, the kashira with a falcon caught on a rope in taka-bori of shibuichi and gold; Together with a Kashira and a Fuchi. The kashira of shakudo and ishime, depicting the upper half of a nio temple guardian in taka-bori of copper, the fuchi of rolled gold, depicting a bullock pawing the ground next to a lake. Lengths 1 1/2 inches.
