Chinese Polychrome Painted Wood Figure of Bodhisattva
Worked in Ming style, the figure seated on rockwork in a position of ease, the right arm resting on bended knee, dressed in a long dhoti and a scarf draped over both shoulders, the hair gathered up adorned with a foliate crown, traces of pigment. Height 21 1/2 inches.
