Pair of Transitional Louis XV/XVI Marquetry Inlaid Gueridons
Charles Topino, third quarter of the 18th century
Each pierced brass oval gallery with flowering basket decorated top, above a frieze drawer, raised on straight supports joined by a similarly decorated oval stretcher shelf and ending in slight cabriole legs with sabots, stamped C. Topino. Height 28 1/2 inches (72 cm), width 16 1/2 inches (42 cm), depth 13 1/2 inches (33 cm).
