Frame rubbing. Visible stretcher marks. Large scrape to canvas at center, extending from the shepherd's arm in the foreground to his knee. There is also a 2'' area of loss at the lower right edge. A 3'' tear at the upper center edge with corresponding paint loss. Canvas is slighlty buckled along the bottom edge. Cracquuelure throghout. Minor surface dirt. Bug damage upper center edge; large crease top to bottom.
