Frame rubbing, with particular wear along the upper edge. Scattered cracquelure throughout, heavier at times particularly along the left center edge and around the face of the Madonna. Visible stretcher marks most noticeably at the right and upper edges. Old and new restoration throughout, condition comensurate with age.
