Victor David Brenner High Relief Bronze Plaque, Dated 1907
The 7 x 9 1/2 inch plaque mounted on marble. This design was used on the Lincoln penny which was the first U.S. coin to bear the likeness of a president. Inscribed copyright 1907 by V.D. Brenner at lower right and below bust Abraham Lincoln xx 1809 * 1865 xx. A beautiful example that has strong appeal to numismatists and collectors of Lincolnia.
