Hand-colored engraving and aquatint by Salathe, plate 29 from Prince Maximilian zu Wied's Travels in the Interior of North America, London, Paris and Coblenz, circa 1839-42, published by Bougeard, Paris, affixed with a few pieces of tape verso to top mat, minor soiling, unobtrusive handling creases, four small spots of discoloration outside the image at bottom, minor loss at bottom sheet corners, two tears at bottom sheet edge (longest 1/2 inch, one with associated creasing), otherwise in good condition, with full margins, framed.
