Tang Dynasty
The slender figure standing with her hands held before her, the head in a slightly downcast position, the black hair swept up into a high topknot, clad in a high waisted long dress with long sleeves, traces of red, green, white and black pigment. Height 12 1/4 inches.
Oxford Authentication Ltd. Thermoluminescence sample number C198w60, August 24, 1998, is consistent with the dating of this lot.
