Japanese Hirado Style Blue and White Glazed Porcelain Vase
Meiji Period, late 19th century
The body of ovoid form, painted with two cartouches of birds on blossoming branches surrounded by scattered clouds, molded with a white dragon on the body and lid, resting on a tall stem molded with two dragons and set on a square base on four curved feet and painted with blossoming flowers and leafy stems. Height 11 3/4 inches.

Column: Resotration to all dragon hands and head.
The sphere and column have been reattached with a bolt.
