Meiji Period, late 19th century
Of baluster form, molded with a white glazed dragon wraped around the mid section, the body enameled with overlapping patterned panels in typical colors between lappet bands; Together with a Large Imari Lid. Of domed form, with a foo lion finial. Height 23 inches.

Stand: Crack around ridge of rim, approximately 11 inches. Wear to enamel and gilding. Broken in the middle and restored. Large crack from base upwards approximately 10 inches, with repair.

Lid: Extensive Repairs. Broken in three pieces and repaired; 2 large rim repairs, restoration to front paws of lion. Wear to gilding and enamel.
