The clock panel painted with a circular dial with black Roman numerals and a pair of hovering cupids above an aristocratic couple, flanked by scrolling acanthus leaves and surmounted with a covered urn, on toupie feet, and a pair of conforming two-handled covered urns, movement stamped Japy Freres. Height of tallest 17 inches.

the vases may in fact be associated with the clock rather than part of an original set: the pieces are related stylisitically as well by color, however, there are a few subtle differences, including with respect to some of the mounts, decorative details, etc.
