E.F. Caldwell Gilt-Bronze Mantel Clock
In the Neoclassical style, the white enameled circular dial with black Arabic numerals, surrounded by a conforming case decorated with anthemion motifs, on scrolling supports centering an oval portrait medallion depicting a classical female in bas relief, continuing to a stepped rectangular base ending in bun feet. Height 14 1/2 inches, diameter 7 3/4 inches.

Round upper half appears to have been reaffixed to the base (glue residue), now leans backwards slightly. Lettering on dial worn. Probably has been regilt.
